Mount Rainier Conditions
The climbing route on Mt. Rainier is typical for this time of the year. Although snow is covering most of the mountain, snowshoes have not been necessary for the approach to Camp Muir at 10,000 feet. RMI is currently using the Disappointment Cleaver route for their climbs. Summit Climbs have been successfully reaching the summit on May 12-13th, 13-14th, and 19-20th.
