Snowy News
The Snow Gods have been kind so far to the Pacific Northwest. There is currently a 75 inch base at Paradise. The snow area is expected to open up this weekend. Mount Tahoma Trails are in great condition for those who want to ski outside of the park. Our first winter seminar will start December 27th, and we will post conditions at Muir and the upper mountain soon after that. The Park service is requiring all vehicles to carry tire chains. Whittaker Mountaineering rents tire chains and snowshoes, tubes, and XC skis

Hi Everyone!
We had a great time at the Mountain yesterday! We rented our gear from Whittaker Mountaineering and had no problems at all- it was just what we needed! We were a little cold afterwards, so after we dropped off our gear, we had some free hot cocoa and warmed up with some of the local tradition. What a great place for the Holidays! On Sunday I'm headed to the Mount Tahoma Trails for two days of fun! It's my 3rd year for a trip there and I can't wait. Last year January was a Spring-like hike with no snow anywhere. This year I'll be using the Snow Bowl for a snowboarding playground. If you've never been here you should check it out.
