May 21st Snow School

Today's snow school just back back from the mountain! RMI Guides Katy Laveck and Solveig Garhart taught school about 20 minutes outside of Paradise in Edith Creek Basin. They encountered a "spring mix" of rain and snow throughout the day. With low freezing levels over the past few days, Paradise had a fresh blanket of soft, unconsolidated snow creating a bit of a Winter Wonderland. Solveig said it was perfect for practicing plunge stepping! Let's hope for some sunshine in the forecast!
